Youthie and Youthie+
Action for Market Towns National Convention 2009
In July 2009, Youthie and Youthie+ were not only became the Social and Community Category winners, but also Eastern Region winners. They beat hundred of other entries in the East of England, and were put forward to compete for the National Award, joining 7 other regions accross the country.
On Tuesday 13th October, Amy Head, along with the officers of Iceni, went to Action for Market Towns National Convention in Melton Mowbray. Amy gave a stunning presentation to a room of 200+ delegates and dignitaries. Throughout the afternoon, and into the evening, many people came up to Amy and congratulated her on such a wonderful and clearly presented presentation.

Unfortunately, we were not successful in winning the National Award, but we have certainly gained a lot of positive recognition for the work that has taken place here in Swaffham.
